A very warm welcome to our Town Field Primary School website which we hope will give you an insight into who we are and what we are about. We hope that you will feel Town Field is the school you wish to choose for your child.
We are a large primary school close to the centre of Doncaster and serve a rich and diverse community. We pride ourselves on our warm, caring ethos and have a strong reputation for this and for the way in which we celebrate every child’s uniqueness. Children have just one chance at primary education; we believe their experiences should be filled with awe and wonder as they ‘learn how to fly together’ at Town Field.
We aspire for our children to have special and happy memories of their time at Town Field and value highly the positive relationships we have between children, parents, staff, governors and our local community.
Our learning community at Town Field is incredibly special due to our rich cultural diversity. We celebrate the fact that over 40 languages are spoken by children here at Town Field.
Each individual child is of unique importance to us and we want to ensure that we nurture their interests and talents throughout their time here. Sporting activities; creativity through music, art, dance and drama; first hand experiences – these are all important elements of our curriculum. At Town Field, we aim to inspire children for a future of life- long learning which will enable them to be confident individuals and responsible citizens. Our Town Field 10 skills for life and learning support our learning journey and will be key factors in your children’s future lives; we look forward to seeing children flourish within our secure, happy and nurturing environment.
At Town Field we want to ensure that we are constantly adapting to meet the needs of all of our learners in this exciting and ever-changing society.
Please enjoy finding out about us at Town Field as we continue to ‘learn how to fly together’. We are very proud of our school, of its commitment to high standards and of its inclusive ethos and I am extremely proud and privileged to serve as its Headteacher.
