We stood on the balcony and looked at the River Don. It is very wide and
fast. Big boats come up and down the river. We can see the Castle View
Conference Centre on the other side of
the river. The coal mine used to be over the other side of the River Don.

We thought this was a funny shape for the building. It looks like a wave
or a fish. It has old telegraph poles to hold up the roof. It has old radiators inside and
old floorboards on the ceiling. |
