A long boat travels sedately down the River Don. Did you know you can go to Earth Centre by boat?  School children have travelled to Earth Centre by boat!

Earth Centre is now closed. Earth Centre closed in October 2004. Earth Centre is now in administration and is no longer open to the public.

We were excited when we walked through the Willow World. We could hear birds singing. The talking post was singing to us. The willow is very bendy and we looked through little baskets at the ponds.

Rosie tells us all about Earth Centre. It used to be a coal mine. We could see some talking posts and a great big roof with solar panels. We were very excited. We walked over this bridge and saw some lovely trees and plants. We could hear lots of birds singing in the trees. There was a cherry tree and the birds were eating the cherries.

This is horsetail and it is also called Lego Plant because you can take it apart and put it back together again.
