Just a short walk from Town Field School is Doncaster Racecourse.

Here are some photographs to illustrate the changes that are occurring to the Racecourse, which is in our local environment.

The Racecourse is being demolished by a huge 120 tonne hydraulic 'nibbler', the largest in Europe.

The new racecourse grandstand is expected to cost 28 million pounds, and should be ready in 2007 in time for the St Leger race.
