Welcome! As you may know, we welcome back Mrs Hannan from her maternity leave into her role of Assistant Head and Year 4 teacher. We also welcome Ms Byram who will be our new Year 6 teacher, Mrs Hunter & Mrs Samantha who are our new midday supervisors. We hope they will all be very happy at our school and we know that they are really looking forward to working with the children and staff. New Office As you are aware we now have a brand new office and reception area in school. The finishing touches are still in progress but we hope you will agree that the new facility is looking fantastic. We would like to thank you all for your patience during the building works. In order that we may comply with health and safety and fire regulations, we would ask that should you wish to visit the office before or after school, if you could take your child to their outside classroom door or main entrance for the older children and if you could walk around the outside of school to get to the office entrance in the car park. By following this procedure, we know exactly which adults are in school should we need to evacuate the premises in an emergency. Thank you for your assistance. Milk Money Milk money is now due for KS1 children which is still £9.00 per term. Please could you give this money to your child in an envelope, clearly labelled with their name and class on the outside. Thank you. Dinner Money Dinner money is due on Monday morning at a cost of £1.50 per day or £7.50 per week. This money needs to be handed into class in a clearly marked envelope with your child’s name and class on the outside. We do not take money for trips, dinners or milk at the school office. Thank you. Car Park As you are aware, cars are not allowed into the school car park. There are also cones placed around the entrance of the car park to prevent unnecessary and dangerous congestion – please be aware that the community police are patrolling before and after school to ensure the safety of our pupils at these peak times. Book Bags & Water Bottles Unfortunately, the prices of bags and bottles have increased due to increased prices from our suppliers – book bags are available in a range of colours at a cost of £2.50 and water bottles are now 50p. Children can purchase these items during morning break time. Cavendish Kids Club Some of you may be aware that unfortunately, the breakfast and after school club has now closed. Cavendish Kids Club made this decision due to limited numbers of children using the facility. Welcome to our new children! Welcome to all our new children who start with us over the next few weeks in Nursery and Reception – we hope that you have a fantastic time at Town Field Primary!
